Oblique leg raises
After so much leg work over the last couple of weeks I felt it was a good idea to highlight an ab exercise for The 4321 Exercise of the Week. The exercise I have selected is called oblique leg raises. They work the abs hard, are an advanced technique to master, but can be scaled to any level!
If this is the first time you have tried this exercise you might find that you can lift your leg off the floor and meet your hand in the middle, but only your shoulders will have left the floor and not the whole of your back. The objective is to try and get your back off the floor so your fingertips can meet your toes in the middle and your back is fully off the floor. Get as close to this as you possibly can, but do not panic if you cannot get the back off the floor. Most people start this way. Just keep trying and over time you will be able to do it.
This is an exercise worth adding into your regular programme. Not only will it make your abs strong, but also help give them a really nice sculpted look. Who doesn’t want that? If you like this exercise, then please share with friends and family and challenge them to do it too! Also, head over to The 4321Method®’s Facebook page to try this week’s new exercise!
