Last week at  The 4321 Method® we challenged our members to take on the single leg burpee! Burpees are a staple in any workout programme and contrary to popular belief it is not just to torture people! They are an incredible full body exercise and very few other exercises can compare.

The reason for the single leg burpee is to make the traditional burpee a bit more challenging. They are such a common exercise that many of us get comfortable with them, despite their difficulty, so it is necessary to increase the level after a certain time. The single leg burpee also challenges our balance and core strength more than a traditional burpee so why not try them out, even by just doing 5 each leg to start with!
