ARTICLE: MY FOOD PLAN 30-9-17
Last week was a great week! It was super busy, but I was organised and on top of all my meal prep, plus I even got to enjoy some pasta for lunch during the week. Awesome! I am very much hoping that this week is just as good. As you know, this is where it all starts with the food plan.
So what is on the agenda this week? Nothing too exciting to be honest. It is my nephews birthday on Saturday so it would be rude not to have a slice of his birthday cake! I am also out on Saturday night, but will just be having a quick bite to eat before a concert. The rest of the weekend is pretty quiet so I imagine it will all go to plan.
During the week I have opted for soup in the evening because Giulio and I have a few late finishes and soup just makes life so easy when we are hungry and in late from work. During the day we will have homemade pork sausages with lentils and pearl barley. It is incredibly filling and the ideal meal to keep us both going all afternoon.
I would say this is a fairly standard food plan and although it is practical and fits our way of life it is also built on food that we want to eat. Before we do the shopping, Giulio and I discuss what meals we fancy having during the week. This is as important as the practical side of planning because meal times should be a happy time filled with food you love. That is the only way a diet can become a lifestyle!
