This weeks dish allows you to enjoy classic Italian sausages, but with far less fat! I use minced pork (as advised by Mr Antonio Carluccio) and just some seasoning. That is it! To make the sausages alone took less than 10 minutes. The recipe makes 12 sausages in total. I used 6 sausages for 3 meals and put the remaining 6 in the freezer, for a tasty treat another day!
The peperonata was so simple and absolutely delicious. It tasted even better after a day or two as well, so is the perfect accompaniment to keep in the fridge and serve up with other dishes throughout the week! I even used the peperonata and sauce with prawns to whip up an awesome stir fry in 5 minutes!
This is a tasty, hearty and warming Italian that you can eat for lunch or dinner. If you give the recipe a go, please let us know by commenting below or on the social media pages!
