Pizza and pasta are generally the first foods to be removed by everyone when they start a diet. The reasoning behind this is understandable as both are high carb meals than can cause our calorie count to go through the roof! However, there are ways to eat both in a way that makes them less calorific and, in fact, even tastier! When it comes to pizza, the best option is to make it yourself! This sounds really daunting and like a lot of work, but it is surprisingly simple! It takes just a few of minutes to make a dough and after that it is all about the toppings! Here is my simple recipe below:
Once you start making your own pizza, you will not want to go back to any others. Of course, I occasionally order a pizza on the rare occasion when I really do not have time to cook, but for convenience only. When it comes to taste though, this recipe is hard to beat, even if I do say so myself!! 😀
